First, research the industry, find out what's involved in becoming an expert. Some states regulate training like the beautician and salon industry and some states have no regulations. Training
Make sure the first training you take has an in-person component. On-line training and in-person theory training should consist of topics like brow mapping, color theory, stroke practice, machine practice, client consultation and an in-person application of the technique! If your training does not have these components you should seek other training. Supplies, marketing, Q&A about starting your business, working in another business and lastly support after the class. Practice
Nothing, not nothing, can take the place of practice. You probably won't have models or clients beating down your door in the beginning so take this time to hone your craft. Practice on practice skins, practice on fruit (you'll learn about that) practice on family, friends, your husband, kids, the dog haha. Anyone that will be a model for you, take them up on it. You will need this time to get ready for your paying clients and let me tell you, when that time comes, you want to be ready. Of course you will be nervous and your very first brows won't be the brows you see on instagram but stay diligent, it will get better. Do your best, encourage yourself, be confident and know that this road is not a mistake. If God brought you to it, He will bring you through it so stay faithful and continue forward!
